Riding Swangers

My blog is personal, because I also own the product that LOUISIANA GOV / TERRY LANDRY is trying to ban. The universal spoke rims called “Swangers” or “84’s” are originally manufactured by Cragar wire wheels in 1983, 1984 for thr FWD Cadillac Eldorado's, and remanufactured by Texan Wire Wheel (TWW) in the early 2000’s. The rims are a southern tradition and ways of life for the tax paying citizens that sponsors and accept these rims in their shops. This culture is compare to that of the Low Rider Family. The cars and trucks that ride on these rims are called “Slabs”. Their has been recent petitions and non-violent protest across the South, mainly Texas and Louisiana, to stop the ban on “Swangers”. The owner of Texan Wire Wheel and other proud sponsors of the culture has battled Louisiana Governor Terry Landry in the courthouses of Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge and won. People are now able to ride freely on rims they have legally paid for without getting harassed by the local police department. There have been reports that some drivers have been reimbursed for traffic fines involving the use of the rims called “Swangers”. So should these rims be banned from the streets? What's your view America?
